Call for Agenda Planning Volunteers for 2023 InFORM Regional Meetings

We are partnering with CDC to plan and host a series of three Integrated Foodborne Outbreak Response and Management (InFORM) Regional Meetings to be held between January and March of 2023. We will announce the specific dates and locations as soon as they are available.

Volunteer Commitment

We are currently forming the agenda planning committees for these regional meetings and would love input from those working in the field. Volunteers for agenda planning will be asked to:

  • Join a series of conference calls beginning in September/October 2022
  • Spend 1-hour biweekly (scheduling at the discretion of each planning committee)

As a reminder, the 2023 InFORM Regional Meetings will encompass joint and discipline-specific sessions for environmental health specialists, epidemiologists, laboratory scientists, health communicators, and other federal, state, and local public health officials involved with foodborne and enteric disease outbreak response.

Share Your Expertise

Individuals interested in volunteering should email InFORM@cdc.gov by Friday, September 16, 2022 with:

  • Subject line: “Volunteer for InFORM Regional Meeting Planning Committee”
  • Discipline you represent (epidemiology, laboratory, environmental health, or health communications) in the body of your message

Share this announcement with state and local partners who may be interested in joining the 2023 InFORM regional meeting planning committee. We will begin scheduling conference calls as soon as possible with the regional meeting planning committee volunteers.

Direct any questions about the regional meetings or volunteering to InFORM@cdc.gov.
