The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, is pleased to announce the winners of the Environmental Health Innovation Award. This award recognizes environmental health professionals who have used innovative environmental health services or strategies to improve the health and well-being of their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
NEHA 2021 AEC: COVID-19 and Environmental Health Innovation Session With Dr. Patrick Breysse
Join us at the NEHA 2021 AEC on July 15 for a panel session that will explore creative adaptations implemented by environmental health professionals across the nation to continue their important work amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists include three NEHA Environmental Health Innovation Award Winners. This session will be moderated by Dr. Patrick Breysse, director of CDC’s NCEH/ATSDR, who leads their efforts to investigate the relationships between environmental factors and health.
